Seven guarantees. Written down. Signed off.

We don't ask you to trust us on a handshake. Every Ashcroft project comes with seven specific guarantees, each of them in the contract you sign — and each of them enforceable long after the keys change hands.

Open-book pricing

You see every quote we receive from sub-trades and suppliers. You see our margin line by line. No hidden allowances, no mystery contingencies. Jim Bruce put it plainly in his review: "their pricing was appealing and the transparent open-book policy was a real asset."

Fixed-price contract

The number you agree on day one is the number you settle on. Variations only happen if you ask for them, and they're priced in writing before anything moves.

10-year structural warranty

Independent structural and weathertightness cover on every build — it stands behind the work for a decade, whether or not we're still the ones picking up the phone.

Named-team continuity

The people you meet at day one are the team at handover. Laurie, Stephen, Dave, Sarah, Phil, Mitchel, Deepa, Chris Marshall — named individually across our Google reviews because they were still there, by name, when the project finished.

Senior-team access

You have the mobile number of the project director assigned to your build. Not an account manager. The person actually running it.

Transparent progress reporting

A fortnightly milestone report. Photos, cost plan, variations, next steps. No surprises the week before handover — because the full picture has been on the page since week one.

Year-eight phone call

If you ring us in year eight because a door's stopped closing properly, we come and look. The guarantee doesn't expire the day the paperwork does — that's the one that matters most.

In practice

What a real guarantee looks like.

Guarantees are only worth the sentence they're printed in if the builder behind them is still standing when you need them. Ashcroft has been building residential homes across Auckland with the same directors, the same senior team, and the same insurance cover on every contract — clients like Mike Allsop and Sasha Peters came back to build second and third homes with us precisely because the team hadn't changed.

The structural warranty is our safety net — but the real guarantee is the long-standing relationship our team has with the sub-trades, engineers and suppliers we contract. The people you meet at the first coffee are the people who answer when you ring in year two.
